Company History

PowerMaster Environmental Group’s predecessor was founded in 1981. One of the company's major milestones was the recent transition to a second generation of management.

Statistics indicate that 80 to 95 percent of small businesses fail to survive this transition, yet each owner accepted the challenge and the business beat the odds.

Another key component to our success has been our ability to change and adapt, while maintaining strong values and work ethic. Just as our clients and the economic environments of various industries evolved, so has our company and the areas in which we work. The initial decision was made in to move from single consulting services to multiple industries so this expanded our capabilities into a number of related fields. This change in course paved the way for future success and growth.

Today, PEG, LLC performs work in the military sector, governmental agencies, landfills, recycling centers, general manufacturing industries as well as supporting specific needs such as Waste to Energy, Paper Recycling, Green Waste, C and D, Glass Recycling, Organic Fertilizer production, MSW reduction, soil remediation, medical waste disposal, biofuel components and others.

In Addition, PEG has several discipline-specific divisions for projects that have military, governmental, state and local scopes.

PEG has also been fortunate to have several successful projects with international clients. In crossing state and international boundaries, the company has assured its passage into the new millennium, through this internationalization and diversification in the work force.

The passion of the founders to simply improve their own existence, 20 years ago, has resulted in a company that is still thriving today and extending the pride of ownership to all of its loyal employees.

Our Unique Design Offers Flexibility and Efficiency

Simplicity
Unlike the complicated operation of other shredder systems, the PowerMaster ™ is the essence of simplicity. Powered by a single 200-400 hundred horse power electric motor that rotates the central shaft assembly, the PowerMaster’s moving arm tip speed reaches up to 650mph.

Durable
We formed the outer shell of the PowerMaster Recyclone™ from two pieces of plate steel with two continuous welds. To protect the outer shell during operation, we lined the interior with abrasion-resistant, replaceable wear plates. The finely balanced moving arms are select steel precisely fitted to the shaft assembly

Infinite Adjustability
We equip your unit with the wear plates and moving arms that best fit your applications. By adjusting the distance between the moving arms and the shelf at each level, you can process virtually any material into a final product that ranges from 6” nominal to a fine fluff or powder, down to 25 microns. Adjustments can be made simply, and quickly in minutes without removing parts or changing components.

Easy to Maintain
The PowerMaster ™ has no grates, cutting teeth, or knife edges.
All wear parts are inexpensive and easily replaceable, including shear bolts, wear plates, wear bars, centrifugal impellers, push blocks, and moving arms.

Efficient
By applying matter-on-matter principles of impact disintegration, the PowerMaster Recyclone™ uses considerably less horsepower than traditional shredder/pulverizer systems. In fact the PowerMaster Recyclone™ processes in a single pass what other systems require multiple passes to process

Versatile
The PowerMaster Recyclone™ requires only minor adjustments to process virtually any solid waste-MSW, aluminum cans, plastic, glass, phone books, yard waste, pallets, C&D, wood, industrial scrap, fuel pellets, tires, coal and much more.

WTE

Many countries have built waste-to-energy plants to capture the energy in their trash. The PowerMaster Recyclone ™ is a key component in ethanol, biodiesel, gasification, plasma and other "Waste to Energy" plants. Due to its ability to reduce any feedstock to desirable size in only one pass, the PowerMaster Recyclone ™
Household garbage, yard waste, glass, incinerator ash, oil waste sludge's, plastics, paints, contaminated soils, tires, etc. can all be processed and recycled.
